Guide to our key creative writing skills

Creative writing is one of the most difficult things both to learn and to teach. For some it comes naturally — their talent just shows up on the page — but for others it requires discipline and hard work. These guides are designed with the second group in mind, though the first group might benefit from them too. They do not contain ‘the secret’, the special sauce that leads to great art, but they do contain some advice to help even the least creative and talented person to improve their fiction and non-fiction writing.
