Skill Check assessment criteria
Check the assessment criteria for the different key skills to give yourself the best possible chance for success. You’ll need to look at the guides to have a fuller understanding.
Full assessment schedules
Find details of what assessments you’ll be doing in each 3-week assessment window for the whole year. This includes your major, holistic assessments, like essays, creative writing pieces or practice GCSE questions, as well as all the more focussed Skill Checks and Knowledge Checks that you’ll be doing in between.
Lunchtime practice and support
We will be running several different lunchtime sessions for skills, knowledge and enrichment this year. Get involved to make faster progress in English — and earn more rewards! Full details are on the page linked above.
